Description
The Lenvanta ST569 converts an M.2 M-Key slot into a single-port U.2 (SFF-8643) connection, letting you run an enterprise U.2 NVMe SSD from a consumer motherboard’s M.2 slot. It’s PCI Express Revision 3.1 compliant and NVM Express 1.2a compliant, with transfer speeds up to 4GB/s (32Gb/s) per port.
No drivers are needed — the adapter is transparent to the operating system, so any OS with native NVMe support (Windows 8 through 11, Windows Server 2012 R2+, and most current Linux distributions) will see the drive without extra setup.
How It Works
- Insert the adapter into an available M.2 M-Key slot on your motherboard.
- Connect the cable (adapter + cable option) from the adapter’s SFF-8643 port to your U.2 SSD’s SFF-8639 port.
- Boot up: the drive is detected automatically once your BIOS/UEFI and OS recognise the NVMe device. No drivers required.
